Sotheby's auction catalogues of two major ancient glass collections.

a) The Benzian Collection of Ancient and Islamic Glass, July 7, 1994, 216 lots, virtually all illustrated in color, prices realized, some annotation.

b) Important Ancient Glass from the Collection formed by the British Rail Pension Fund, November 24, 1997, 33 lots, all illustrated in color. The famous cage cup was sold here, bringing 2,311,500 pounds. Prices realized list. Both softcover.
