- The paperback books are 6 by 9 inches ... there are between 20 and 25 pages in each booklet ... the auctions were for Precious Stone Jewelry, Early English and French Watches of the XVIII and XIX Centuries ... Valuable Diamonds and Jewelry ...and Valuable Diamonds and Antique Gold Jewelry ... the names of the estates are also on the front cover. Two of the books have photos of various items inside.

PawPaw is my 86-year-old father-in-law. PawPaw and his wife Mimi were antique dealers in northern Illinois for years, and have been collectors of almost every kind of historical memorabilia since shortly after World War II. If they thought something would have value some day, they hauled it home and saved it. PawPaw has always said that was his retirement account. I tell him he was just sitting around waiting for eBay to be invented!
